A mop of silver white hair and ruby red eyes poke them selves out of a bush and stare at the couple sitting at a table in a café. The blond, who happens to be his younger brother Ludwig, says something and the girl laughs. The man, named Gilbert, flares with jealousy. How come his brother got a girlfriend before him? And the way he did it was so silly anyone could do it. Ordering a girl to go out with him, HA, even he could do it…

“ZAT’S IT!” Gilbert yells jumping up out of the bush

People stare at him. Gilbert blushes and shuffles away.

Later Gilbert modifies his clothes so he looks more like a soldier and goes out to pick up a girl. He spots a hot blond and walks over to her.

“Hallo” he says trying not to smile

“Hi” she says back

“I order jou to go on a date vith ze Awesome me” he says, this time he couldn’t stop himself from grinning

The girl stares at him and the next the he knows he was clutching his throbbing red cheek after it was hit with a purse that felt like it had bricks I it. Once the pain in his cheek subsides he tries again. This time he got kicked in the shin. After a while his body can’t take the pain so he sits at a table outside a café, his face on the table.

“Vhy isn’t zis working” he mumbles to himself

Gilbert feels a tap on his shoulder and he turns to see a girl with (h/l) (h/c) hair and glimmering (e/c) eyes. She is wearing a white blouse with (favourite/flower) design on it. She is also wearing a (f/c) skirt with (s/f/c) tights and little black shoes. Gilbert immediately sits up, his cheeks pink with embarrassment.

“Are you ok” she asks worried “You seem down”

“I, uh, um…”

Gilbert looks down and the girl slides into the chair across from him.

“What happened” she asks sounding concerned

Gilbert, without thinking, answers.

“I’ve been trying to ask girls out all day but all I got vas pain, I got slapped, kicked and even punched”

Gilbert puts his elbows on the table and his chin on his clenched fists.

“Maybe I’m just not meant to find love”

“There’s someone out there for everyone”

The girl reaches out and touches his cheek.

“You just need to look in the right places”

She smiles at him and Gilbert turns red. She giggles. Gilbert is trying to process what she said when it clicks.

“Um vill jou go out vith me?” he asks nervously

Her smile widens.

“Of course”
